This is the story of one Suman Gangwar, a 31-year old woman working as a maid, who mortgages her jewellery to construct a toilet in her house. She says that she took this decision as her two sons, aged 12 and 4, faced inconvenience. Her husband is a daily-wage labourer. Suman is from village Gulariya Bhavani in Baheri tehsil in UP.
