Ekal & CII India@75 recently organized “Mera Gaon, Swachh Gao” - a cleanliness drive in various parts of the country. In this drive undertaken in 47 blocks more than 1,93,000 beneficiaries were registered in 1401 villages.
The aim of the drive was spreading awareness about the cleanliness habits and spreading the importance of hygiene in the people residing in those villages.
In the concluding programme of this National Volunteering Week 2017 a programme was organized on 24th January in New Delhi. In this event Smt. Manju Srivastava, President Ekal Sansthan was invited to represent the implementation partner- Ekal Abhiyan. She explained the Ekal model of five- fold education and its history. She explained how Ekal particularly fills the gap in policy implementation, thereby making them more effective.
