The Directorate General of Training (DGT), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has announced the launch of five high end diploma courses in the skill ecosystem for the academic year 2017. The five courses in Welding Technology, Industrial Electronics and Automation, Manufacturing Technology, Automotive Technology and IT, Networking and Cloud Computing were cleared today at the Sub-Committee meeting of NCVT .The need for advance level courses/ specialized courses has been long felt in the vocational training landscape in the country.
The courses are of two years duration and will be introduced from August/September 2017 at Advanced Training Institutes (ATIs). These courses would enable trainees to acquire cutting edge training by providing an opportunity to sharpen their “hands-on skills” in specialized areas such as computerized pneumatic control (CNC) machining, automotive technology, welding, mechatronics, industrial electronics and automation. This would also extend the skill pyramid beyond current vocational training set up. Over and above this, one fourth of the training period is dedicated for on-the-job training in the form of an industrial attachment.
डीजीटी ने डिप्लोमा पाठ्यक्रमों को शुरू करने की घोषणा की
कौशल विकास एवं उद्यमिता मंत्रालय (एमएसडीई) के अंतर्गत प्रशिक्षण महानिदेशालय ने अकादमिक वर्ष 2017 के लिए कौशल तंत्र में पांच उच्चस्तरीय डिप्लोमा पाठ्यक्रम शुरू करने की घोषणा की है। वेल्डिंग टेक्नॉलॉजी, इंडस्ट्रियल इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एवं ऑटोमेशन, मैन्युफैक्चरिंग टेक्नॉलॉजी, ऑटोमोटिव टेक्नॉलॉजी एंड आईटी और नेटवर्किंग एवं क्लाउड कंप्युटिंग नामक पांच पाठ्यक्रमों को एनसीवीटी की उप समिति की बैठक में आज मंज़ूरी दे दी गई। देशभर में व्यावसायिक प्रशिक्षण के क्षेत्र में लंबे समय से उन्नत किस्म के पाठ्यक्रमों/विशेष पाठ्यक्रमों की आवश्यकता महसूस की जा रही थी।
ये पाठ्यक्रम दो वर्ष की अवधि के हैं। इन पाठ्यक्रमों को उन्नत प्रशिक्षण संस्थानों (एडवांस ट्रेनिंग इंस्टीट्यूट) में अगस्त/सितंबर 2017 से शुरू किया जाएगा। प्रशिक्षण अवधि के एक चौथाई समय को नौकरी पर प्रशिक्षण के रूप में निर्धारित किया गया है, जिसके तहत प्रशिक्षुओं को अपने पाठ्यक्रम की कुल अवधि का एक चौथाई समय नौकरी के तौर इंडस्ट्री में गुजारना होगा।
