In the financial year 2020-2021 (upto 12th January 2021), sales worth Rs. 484 Cr were recorded at the 7064 Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendras across all districts of the country selling quality generic medicines. This figure which is 60% higher than the corresponding figures of the previous financial year, has led to savings of approx. Rs. 3000 Cr. to the citizens of this country. This was announced by the Union Minister for Chemicals & Fertilisers, Sadananda Gowda in Karnataka on Thursday.
In the financial year 2019-2020, the Government of India grant for the Jan Aushadi Kendras was Rs 35.51 Crore while savings to citizens were Rs. 2600 Crore. Thus, every one rupee spent by Government has led to savings of Rs. 74 to the citizens. It has multiplicative effect, said Gowda.
The Minister also announced that further, stepping forward towards empowering women all around the country, till date more than 10 Crore Jan Aushadhi ”Suvidha” sanitary pads have been sold at Re.1 each. Purchase order for Jan Aushadhi ”Suvidha” sanitary pads worth Rs. 3.6 Cr. has been placed in December 2020. Tender for 30 crore Jan Aushadhi ”Suvidha” sanitary pads has also been finalized.
Speaking specially about Karnataka, Gowda said that at present, 788 Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendras in Karnataka are serving the citizens by providing them affordable, high-quality generic-medicines. Karnataka aims to achieve the target of opening a total of 800 PMBJK by March 2021 in the state. Making a unique breakthrough in the healthcare sector with its wide range of medicine, the PMBJP Kendras in Karnataka aim to achieve sales worth of Rs. 125 Crore by March, 2021.
जनऔषधि केन्द्रों ने इस वित्तीय वर्ष में 484 करोड़ रुपये की बिक्री दर्ज की
गुणवत्तापूर्ण जेनेरिक दवाओं की बिक्री में संलग्न देश के सभी जिलों में स्थित 7064 प्रधानमंत्री भारतीय जनऔषधि केन्द्रों नेवित्तीय वर्ष 2020-2021 (12 जनवरी 2021 तक) के दौरान484करोड़ रुपये मूल्य की बिक्रीदर्ज की है। इस आंकड़े से, जोकि पिछले वित्तीय वर्ष के समतुल्य आंकड़ों की तुलना में 60% अधिक है, इस देश के नागरिकों की लगभग3000 करोड़ रुपये की बचत हुई है। इस आशय की घोषणा केंद्रीय रसायन एवं उर्वरक मंत्री सदानंद गौड़ा ने कर्नाटक में की।
वित्तीय वर्ष 2019-2020 के दौरान,भारत सरकार ने जनऔषधि केन्द्रोंको 35.51 करोड़ रुपये का अनुदान दिया था, जबकि इस अवधि में नागरिकों की 2600 करोड़ रुपये की बचत हुई थी।इस प्रकार, सरकार द्वारा खर्च किए गए प्रत्येक एक रुपये की वजह से नागरिकों को 74रुपये की बचत हुई है। गौड़ा ने कहा कि इस कदम का गुणक प्रभाव स्पष्ट है।
केन्द्रीय मंत्री ने यह भी घोषणा की कि इसके अलावा, पूरे देश में महिलाओं को सशक्त बनाने की दिशा में कदम बढ़ाते हुएअब तक 10 करोड़ से अधिक जन औषधि“सुविधा” सेनेटरी पैड की बिक्री 1 रुपये प्रति पैड की दर से की गई है।दिसंबर 2020 में कुल 3.6 करोड़ रुपये मूल्य के जन औषधि“सुविधा” सेनेटरी पैड की खरीद संबंधी आदेश जारी किएगएहैं।कुल 30 करोड़जन औषधि“सुविधा” सेनेटरी पैड से जुड़ी निविदा को भी अंतिम रूप दे दिया गया है।
कर्नाटक के बारे में विशेष रूप से चर्चा करते हुए, गौड़ा ने कहा कि वर्तमान मेंकर्नाटक में कुल 788 प्रधानमंत्री भारतीय जनऔषधि केन्द्र नागरिकों को सस्ती औरउच्च गुणवत्ता वाली जेनेरिक-दवाएं प्रदान करके उनकी सेवा कर रहे हैं।कर्नाटक का इरादा मार्च 2021 तक राज्य में कुल 800 प्रधानमंत्री भारतीय जनऔषधि केन्द्र खोलने का लक्ष्य हासिल करना है।अपनी दवाओं की विस्तृत श्रृंखला के साथ स्वास्थ्य सेवा के क्षेत्र में एक अनूठी उपलब्धि हासिल करते हुए, प्रधानमंत्री भारतीय जनऔषधि केन्द्रों का इरादा कर्नाटक मेंमार्च 2021 तक कुल 125 करोड़ रुपये मूल्य की बिक्री का लक्ष्य हासिल करना है।
