राजस्थान की महिलाएं अब बना रहीं सोलर लैंप
राजस्थान के आदिवासी बाहुल्य जिले डूंगरपुर की आदिवासी महिलाएं अब सोलर इंजीनियर बन गई हैं। ये न सिर्फ सोलर लैंप बना रही हैं, बल्कि अब इनके लिए सोलर मॉड्यूल बनाने का प्लांट भी स्थापित किया जा रहा है। इसे "दुर्गा" नाम दिया गया है।
खास बात यह है कि इन लैंपों के निर्माण के अलावा इनकी मरम्मत और मार्केटिंग का काम ये महिलाएं करती हैं। 80 रुपए की कीमत वाले ये लैंप डूंगरपुर जैसे पिछड़े जिले में बच्चों की पढ़ाई का बड़ा साधन हैं।
शुरुआत में 150 महिलाओं को प्रशिक्षित किया गया, फिर 500 और महिलाएं जुड़ी। आज करीब पांच हजार महिलाएं सोलर लैंप बना रही हैं।
In the tribal area of Dungarpur in Rajashtan some 5000 women are engaged in making solar lamps. Apart from making these solar lamps, which cost only 80 Rupees, the women are also marketing the product and even do their servicing. IIT, Mumbai has helped these women folk in this project.
