Religious Heads Encourage Followers to be Organ Donors

Many prominent religious heads came together at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai to talk on encouraging their followers to become organ donors. Mostly refusal are based on the perception that their religions do not sanction such an act. However, it was pointed out that while accepting the needed organ the religion does not come in the way then why it comes when organs are to be donated. Read more in TOI piece.
