एकल की पूर्व आचार्या बहिन चन्दा देवी, उम्र 45 वर्ष, पुत्री श्री मंगरु ग्राम चांदपुर दौलतपुर पोस्ट दुर्जनपुर पचूमी जिला गोंडा उत्तर प्रदेश की रहनी वाली है। यह एक अदभुत कहानी है, कैसे खड़ा किया चंदा देवी ने लघु उद्योग। यह कहानी बड़ी रोचक है।
चंदा देवी बताती हैं कि, “मैं साधारण सी महिला, कभी व्यापार करने की सोच भी नही सकती थी। दूसरी बात, हमारी आर्थिक स्थिति ऐसी थी कि हमने कोई व्यापार करने की कल्पना सपने में भी नही किया था। मुझे एकल से राह मिल गई। मेरा जीवन ही बदल गया। मेरा एकल अभियान में आचार्य के लिए चयन हुआ।
मार्च 2015 को प्रशिक्षण लेने जब गई तो ऐसा कुछ सोचा था कि बच्चों को पढ़ाने के बारे में जानकारी दी जाएगी। लेकिन जब प्रशिक्षण प्रारम्भ हुआ, भारतीय संस्कृति की रक्षा से लेकर बच्चों के खेल तक, हमारी दैनिक जीवन शैली से लेकर गाँव के सशक्तिकरण तक, तब मेरा दिमाक खुला, मेरा जीवन ही बदल गया।
खेती से लेकर स्वालंबन तक अब मेरे मन में सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात आई मंजन बनाने की गोबर के कंडों से। बहुत ही सरल विधि से कम कीमत से मंजन का निर्माण मेरे मन को समझा रही थी। प्रशिक्षण पूर्ण हुआ, घर आई, भाई से बताया, बोले अच्छा है सोचते है। धीरे धीरे विद्यालय का संचालन करने लगी। मन अब प्रसन्न रहने लगा, 2018 तक मैंने आचार्या का काम किया।
घर की व्यस्तता के कारण एकल में काम छोड़ दिया, लेकिन एकल मेरे ह्रदय में था, आज भी है। एकल मेरा अभिमान है, मेरा गौरव है। एकल ने ही मुझे रास्ता दिखाया। मैं सदैव एकल के लिए तत्पर रहती हूँ, मैंने और मेरे भाई ने मिलकर आर्थिक विकास एवं समाज को ऑर्गनिक मंजन उपलब्ध कराने का फैसला लिया। हमने एक संस्था बनाई - माँ समुद्रा देवी फाउंडेशन रिसर्च सेंटर जिसकें माध्यम से मंजन बनाने की प्रक्रिया शुरू किया।
धीरे धीरे गाँव में, जिले में लोगों ने लिया, उपयोग करने पर अच्छा फीडबैक मिला, पायरिया, मुँह से बदबू आना बन्द, ब्लड निकलना बंद आदि फायदा होने लगा। लोगों का विश्वास बढ़ता चला गया। हमारा हौसला भी बढ़ता चला गया अब हमारी मंजन उत्तर प्रदेश के गोंडा, अयोध्या, बस्ती, सिद्धार्थनगर, इतना ही नही हरिद्वार, दिल्ली में भी हमारी मंजन की डिमांड बढ़ गई, मेरे साथ कम से कम 25- 30 लोगों को रोजगार भी मिला हैं। मैं अपने एकल पर गर्व महसूस करती हूँ।“
इस प्रकार चंदा देवी ने आर्थिक विकास के साथ समाज में अपनी एक मिसाल कायम की है। महिला होते हुए इनका आत्मबल इतना बढ़ गया कि अब मंजन का छोटा सा व्यवसाय लघु उद्योग का रूप लेने लगा है।
Chanda Devi, former Ekal Teacher, moves ahead with the setting up of a Small Scale Industry
Former Acharya of Ekal, Chanda Devi is the daughter of Shri Mangru. She is from village Chandpur, Post Durjanpur Panchumi in the Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh.
Her story is very exciting as to how she started a small scale business enterprise. According to Chanda Devi, she never even thought of starting up a business of her own and her economic condition didn’t permit her to even dream about it. But EKAL enlightened her path to success and it came as a turning point in her life.
She was selected as an Ekal teacher or the ’Aacharya’. When she went for her training she thought of just getting trained how to teach the children, but to her surprise she was trained to learn about the rich Indian culture, traditions and its values, sports for kids, day to day lifestyle, upliftment for their betterment, which totally changed her vision towards life. From agriculture to self-reliance, she was moved by the idea of making tooth powder from cow dung in a simple manner.
She started teaching in Ekal school, until 2018 and was very happy about it; but due to her duty towards her home she could not continue further. However, she always gives credit to EKAL ABHIYAN to show her the right path with a great motivation, which she is very proud of and always ready to serve for Ekal.
She and her brother started an organization by the name ‘Maa Samudradevi Foundation Research Centre’ where they manufactured organic tooth powder. Slowly after getting good results from the villagers who suffered from pyorrhea, bad mouth odour, bleeding gums etc, the demand started increasing. People trusted them and gave positive feedback. Their product reached Gonda, Ayodhya Basti, Siddharthnagar, and even Delhi, Haridwar. She now employs around 25-30 people in this small scale industry of theirs. It’s a proud moment for EKAL, which has truly set up an inspiration in the society for women who can start their own business through skilling.
