To help passengers, specially the aged and disabled, battery operated cars will be made available at most major railway platforms. However, this facility will be made available on payment basis. Similarly availability of wheel chairs will also be made. The proposal is to outsource this work to a private agency. A dedicated App for this is also being developed. To start with the project will be launched at 75 stations.
