In two years power shortage all over the country has been reduced by 87%. Reports also suggest that NTPC, which was even importing coal for its various units, will no longer do so. All the coal to be used in NTPC plants will be procured locally. This change has been made possible by hard work and transparency of the Minister Piyush Goyal.
