In order to promote Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s demonetisation scheme among rural population, the Ministry of Human Resource Developmet (HRD) is now roping in its Adult Education Bureau. Primarily responsible for imparting basic literacy among men and women, mostly in rural areas, the Bureau will now teach them how to adopt digital modes of payment.
