A Parliamentary panel on empowerment of women has suggested that 15% of all branches of Public Sector Banks should be all-women branches. Their report was tabled in the Parliament on 10th August. The report says that women constitute 24% of the total workforce in PSBs. Finance ministry sources have informed that there are 301 all-women branches, presently.
