The drug price regulator has slashed prices of 43 commonly used essential medicines by up to 35%, a move expected to benefit patients suffering from several critical diseases and who need expensive medicines. Some of these medicines used in treatment of diabetes, cancer, asthma, cardiovascular diseases, mental disorders and kidney failure.
Now with the increase in number of patients affected by these diseases this move will helps lakhs in the country.
