The Delhi-Jaipur highway is one of the busiest corridor. Even with improved road it takes around five hours, depending on the traffic conditions, to commute between the two cities.
Soon a new super express-way will come up which will reduce the commuting time considerably. The land acquisition process has started for this new 'super expressway'. The distance between the two cities will be reduced by nearly 40 kms/
Being built by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) this super express-way will originate from Gurgaon. And as per officials the commuting time between Gurgaon and Jaipur will be around 120 minutes.
The estimated cost of building the road is Rs6,530 crores and the estimated relief and rehabilitation cost is Rs5,000 crores.
