Continuing its mission to improve the livelihoods of the tribals (both forest dwellers and artisans) and work towards tribal empowerment, TRIFED under Ministry of Tribal Affairs has decided to explore a convergence and build a partnership with Akhil Bhartiya Vanvasi Kalyan Kendra, a pioneering organization that has been working for the welfare of tribals in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand since 1952.
In this regard, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was exchanged between the two organisations on January 3, 2021 to work together for setting up of TRIFOOD Parks in 5 districts in Madhya Pradesh. The MoU was signed by Pravir Krishna, MD, TRIFED and Yogesh Bapat, General Secretary, Akhil Bhartiya Vanvasi Ashram in the presence of Durga Das Uikey, Member of Parliament from Betul, Madhya Pradesh.
Speaking on the occasion, Pravir Krishna said that TRIFED has been actively exploring convergences with various like-minded organizations to continue our mission to improve tribal livelihoods. Engagement with Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram to undertake meaningful work will ensure round-the-year income earning opportunity for tribals by engaging them in a variety of economic activities ranging from agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, Medicinal & Aromatic plants etc. and go beyond Minor Forest Produces.”
The two organisations will work together by undertaking various initiatives all aimed at improving the livelihood of tribal people and implementation of the Van DhanYojana through the mobilization of Self Help Groups (SHGs) / VanDhanVikas Kendra (VDVKs) / VPCs / TRIFOOD Parks.
With TRIFED as the mentoring organization, it has been agreed that Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram would form new Van Dhan Kendras in tribal areas by identifying SHGs, organize training, building infrastructure, provide machinery and equipment and other support. Among other scope of activities, Kalyan Ashram will include other areas, viz agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, fisheries, animal husbandry, handlooms, crafts to keep the operations running year-long and make the VanDhan scheme all-inclusive and viable.
ट्राइफेड ने मध्य प्रदेश में ट्राइफ़ूड (जनजातीय खाद्य) पार्कों की स्थापना के लिए अखिल भारतीय वनवासी कल्याण आश्रम के साथ समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किये
आदिवासियों (वनवासियों और कारीगरों दोनों) की आजीविका में सुधार लाने तथा जनजातीय सशक्तीकरण की दिशा में काम करने के लिए अपने मिशन को जारी रखते हुए, जनजातीय कार्य मंत्रालय के तहत ट्राइफेड ने विभिन्न अवसरों का लाभ उठाने और अखिल भारतीय वनवासी कल्याण केंद्र के साथ साझेदारी करने का फैसला किया है। वनवासी कल्याण केंद्र वर्ष 1952 से मध्य प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़ और झारखंड में आदिवासियों के कल्याण के लिए काम कर रहा है।
इस संबंध में, मध्य प्रदेश के 5 जिलों में ट्राइफ़ूड पार्क की स्थापना के लिए एक साथ काम करने के तहत 3 जनवरी 2021 को दोनों संगठनों के बीच एक समझौता ज्ञापन (एमओयू) का आदान-प्रदान किया गया। इन समझौता ज्ञापन पर ट्राइफेड के प्रबंध निदेशक प्रवीर कृष्ण और अखिल भारतीय वनवासी आश्रम के महासचिव योगेश बापत के बीच हस्ताक्षर किए गए। इस अवसर पर मध्य प्रदेश के बैतूल से सांसद दुर्गा दास उइके भी उपस्थित थे।
इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए प्रवीर कृष्ण ने कहा कि, ट्राइफेड सक्रिय रूप से समान विचारधारा वाले विभिन्न संगठनों के साथ जुड़कर काम करने की संभावनाएं तलाश रहा है, ताकि आदिवासियों की आजीविका में बढ़ोत्तरी करने के लिए अपने मिशन को जारी रखा जा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि, वनवासी कल्याण आश्रम के साथ जुड़ने से सार्थक कार्य करने के मौके मिलेंगे। इसके अतिरिक्त कृषि, बागवानी, फूलों की खेती, औषधीय तथा सुगंधित पौधों की पैदावार आदि से लेकर कई प्रकार की अन्य आर्थिक गतिविधियों में संलग्न होकर आदिवासियों के लिए साल भर आय होने के अवसर सुनिश्चित होंगे। साथ ही इससे उन्हें लघु वनोपज से आगे बढ़कर काम करने के मौके मिलेंगे।
आदिवासी लोगों की आजीविका में वृद्धि करने तथा स्वयं सहायता समूहों (एसएचजी) / वन धन विकास केंद्र (वीडीवीके / वीपीसी / ट्राइफ़ूड पार्क) के माध्यम से वन धन योजना के क्रियान्वयन के उद्देश्य से दोनों संगठन मिलकर विभिन्न पहल करके एक साथ काम करेंगे। संरक्षक संगठन के रूप में ट्राइफेड के साथ यह सहमति बनी है कि, वनवासी कल्याण आश्रम आदिवासी क्षेत्रों में स्वयं सहायता समूहों की पहचान करके, प्रशिक्षण का आयोजन, संरचना निर्माण, मशीनरी और उपकरण तथा अन्य सहायता प्रदान करके नए वन धन केंद्र बनाए जाएंगे। इसके अलावा कई अन्य गतिविधियां भी होंगी, जिनमें कल्याण आश्रम अन्य क्षेत्रों जैसे कि कृषि, बागवानी, फूलों की खेती, मत्स्य पालन, पशुपालन, हथकरघा तथा शिल्प उद्योग से पूरे वर्ष कार्य कराने के लिए प्रयासरत रहेगा और यह वनधन योजना को सर्व-समावेशी और व्यवहार्य बनाने में भी शामिल होगा।
