Varanasi gets E-Rickshaws

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the scheme to distribute 1000 e-rickshaws in Varanasi. News says that within a year the target is to replace 20,000 traditional rickshaws with 10,000 of e-rickshaws. Proposal is also afoot to book e-rickshaws online to help commuters.

11 e-boats were also distributed by the PM at Assi Ghat on Sunday.
