एकल ग्रामोत्थान योजना को मिला डिजिटल ट्रेलब्लेजर्स अवार्ड
एकल अभियान की सहयोगी संस्थान ग्रामोत्थान योजना को एच.पी., के.पी.एम.जी. एवं इण्डिया टुडे ग्रुप द्वारा डिजिटल ट्रेलब्लेजर्स अवार्डस् से पुरस्कृत किया गया। दिनांक २१ अक्टुबर को राँची रेडिसन ब्लू होटल में झारखण्ड के मुख्यमंत्री श्री रघुवर दास जी के द्वारा एकल अभियान के केन्द्रीय-सह-अभियान प्रमुख एवं ग्रामोत्थान योजना के केन्द्रीय प्रमुख श्री ललन कुमार शर्मा ने यह पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया।
मौके पर नगर विकास मंत्री श्री सी पी सिंह, सूचना एवं तकनीकि सचिव श्री सुनील वर्णवाल, आई जी श्री आर के मल्लिक सहित एचपी कम्प्यूटर के कन्ट्री मैनेजर श्री विवेक मोडवाल मौजूद थे।
ग्रामोत्थान योजना को ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में Computer On Wheel Programme के लिए यह पुरस्कार प्रदान किया गया। स्कुल-काॅलेज के विद्यार्थीयों एवं अन्य युवक-युवतियों को उनके ही गांव में Computer On Wheel के द्वारा Digital Literacy की शिक्षा गांव-गांव जाकर दी जाती है। बस में ही Computer लगे हैं एवं Class Room जैसा बच्चों को बैठने की व्यवस्था है। ग्रामोत्थान योजना द्वारा सुदूर ग्रामीण एवं जंगल के अंदर के गांवों में भी जहाँ बिजली की सुविधा तक नहीं है, बच्चे कभी Computer एवं Internet का नाम नहीं सुने थे, उन बच्चों को Computer Literacy के साथ-साथ Word, Documents, Excel, Power Point, Paint एवं Internet की शिक्षा दी जा रही है। ग्रामोत्थान योजना द्वारा वर्तमान में 13 विभिन्न ग्रामोत्थान केन्द्रों पर एडवांस कोर्स के लिए Computer Lab की व्यवस्था भी की गई है। इन बच्चों को IIT मुम्बई द्वारा Digital India का Certification की व्यवस्था भी है। अब तक 4898 बच्चों को Digital India का Certificate ग्रामोत्थान योजना द्वारा दिया जा चुका है एवं 51110 लोगों को Skill Development एवं Rural Entrepreneurship के लिए प्रशिक्षित किया जा चूका है।
Digital India एवं Skill Devlopment के कार्यक्रम को देश में चल रहे 54000 एकल विद्यालय ग्रामों तक पहुँचाने हेतु ग्रामोत्थान योजना ने अगले माह से और अन्य छः Computer On Wheel चलाने की योजना बनाई है। 2020 तक एकल विद्यालय के 15 लाख बच्चों को Computer Literate करने की योजना पर ग्रामोत्थान योजना कार्य कर रही है।
Ekal Gramotthan Foundation has been awarded with the Digital India Conclave, Trailblazers award organised by HP (Hewlett Packard) in association with India Today group and K.P.M.G. in Ranchi on the 21st October. Shri Raghubar Das, Chief Minister of Jharkhand, presented the award to Shri Lalan Kumar Sharma, Program Director and Central Gramotthan Incharge of Ekal. Other dignitaries present at the award function included Urban Development Minister Shri C.P Singh, Shri Sunil Barnwal, Secretary Information Technology Jharkhand state, Ms. Aradhna Patnaik, Secretary Education and Human Resource Development, Jharkhand state, Shri Vivek Modwal, Country Manager Hewlett Packard.
The computer literacy mission of Ekal with an initiative of mobile computer van dedicated towards the rural and remote areas has proved to be a boon for the children. Besides the mobile van some centres of the Foundation have computer training class rooms too.
Ekal Gramotthan Foundation is involved in integrated development of rural and remote areas in the field of education, agriculture and healthcare has brought about significant changes in the society over the years. It has 13 centres across the country in the state of Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Assam and Delhi. The Foundation has imparted training to more than 5000 students through computer classroom and Ekal computer on wheel program. Initially, it initiated the computer van program from one centre i.e. Karanjo (West Singhbhum District, Jharkhand) has plans to run it at 6 more centres across India. The training is imparted with the help of self-learning method and open source software developed by IIT Bombay. Ekal Gramothan foundation has tie-up with Spoken tutorial organisation, Indian Institute of Technology for the certification program to add values to the training so that, the trained students can apply for computer based job. Apart from this, It runs skill development program in various sectors which has shown a great impact to the lives of more than 51,000 people across the nation. The organisation has provided tailoring/stitching training to 4081 women and has also trained 2803 people in the field of food processing.
It may be mentioned here that Ekal Movement with its basic education, health care, development, empowerment and value & ethic education programmes has presence in some 54,000 villages across the country and is the world’s largest voluntary effort of its kind.
