By now everyone must have heard of the tragic incident in Bhubaneswar where 20 patients died in a fire that occurred at the SUM Hospital. Amidst the news of deaths this TOI news has highlighted as to how a brave nurse showed courage and did her best to provide help. For about 40 minutes, Baby Bhabani, 30, braved the suffocating smoke in the ICU of the burn ward.
Newspapers should give more of such stories to let the readers know of such brave people who do so much to help others. Such stories are a motivation for all. And Baby Bhabani should be recognised for her act.
