संगति अर्थात साथ रहना, जिस भी वस्तु, विषय या व्यक्ति के साथ निरंतर संपर्क में हम रहते हैं उसका प्रभाव हमारे व्यक्तित्व पर पड़ जाता है। संगति यही है।सदा सद्संगति में ही रहना चाहिए, जिससे कि जीवन में सद्भाव , सदाचार और नैतिकमूल्यों को अपना सकें।विशेष कर बालावस्था और किशोरावस्था में संगति का अधिक प्रभाव पड़ता है।
बाहरी दुनिया से हम अधिक प्रभावित रहते हैं I इसलिए संगति या मित्रता सही होना चाहिए ।मन चंचल होता है किसीभी ओर आकर्षित हो सकता है इसलिए सदा सद्संगति में ही रहना चाहिए। विपरीत स्वभाव के लोगों से मित्रता भी संभव नहीं।मित्रता के लिए समभाव भी आवश्यक है। सद्संगति से सदाचार और सदभावना का निर्माण होता है।
Variety prevails everywhere, whether be it in any tangible items or be it in intangible emotions such as friendship. Friendship can be of different kind and types. For some, friends are “close buddies” other are best friends. Moreover in this age of technology and social networking new kinds of friendship are bound to erupt and prosper for there are “Internet friends” where friends hardly get to meet each other in person yet share great emotional quotients. There also exist “Pen Friends” where friends share emotions through the exchange of letters.
