We have always been hearing that children, as they grow up, leave school if there are no toilets. And this is very true for girl students. Now an international study has confirmed this. The study was made in 52 low and middle income countries. The study points out that construction of toilets increased enrollment and reduced drop out rates. Besides the government, many voluntary organisations have also come forward to address this issue.
