Cases Of Diarrhoea Down In ODF Areas

Very ofter we read of news of how cleanliness is helping improve the health of people. Very recently reports had suggested that on an average will be able to save some 50,000 Rupees annually just because of clealiness.

Now a survey has revealed that cases of the dreaded disease diarrhoea in areas which are 'open defecation free' is much lower. 

Cases of diarrhoea among children living in non-open defecation free (ODF) villages are 46% higher in comparison to ODF ones, findings of a study conducted for the drinking water and sanitation ministry showed.
