Bharat Mahan

Sometime back Delhi government had taken the decision to introduce a new subject in all government schools, from Nursery Class to Class VIII under the name "Happiness".

The advertisement of the government says:
"Education is mean to create happy, confident and content human beings, who can in-turn play a meaningful role in society. The curriculum will include components that will instill self-awareness and care, reduce stress and anxiety, help manage depression, build ability to focus on education and work, encourage creative and critical thinking. Such a holistic approach to education will result in building healthy minds of our children that will enable them to lead a happy life."

For this a national level workshop is scheduled to be held in the fourth week of March 2018.

Interested individuals and groups are welcome to share ideas, programs or curriculum and can send the proposals to [email protected]. The last date to send in the proposals is 15th March 2018. Know more of the guidelines on www.edudel.nic.in under 'Pubic Circulars'.
