School Girl Helps Construct Toilets With Saved Pocket Money

This is the story of  a Class VI student of Hill Top School, Telco, in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, who spent her pocket money to build two toilets for poor people in Potka block of the district. Chief Minister Raghubar Das has also appreciated the efforts of Mondrita Chatterjee and said that her efforts is an inspiration for all. Mondrita has been awarded with the Sanitation Champion certificate for her contribution towards sanitation by Jharkhand government. This certificate was awarded to Mondrita by Chief MInister Raghubar Das in the state level sanitation conference held in Jamshedpur on Saturday.

Mondrita's efforts will surely motivate other students around the country to help Prime Minister's vision of a Swachh Bharat. Mondrita was herself inspired by PM's appeal to participate in the cleanliness campaign.
