Woman Climbs Mt Everest Twice In 5 Days

32 year old Anshu Jamsenpa of Bomdilla, the headquarters of West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh, in Arunachal Pradesh has created history. She has become the first woman to have climbed Everest twice in a span of just 5 days. Another record to her credit is that she is the first Indian woman to have climbed Everest for the fifth time.

In 2011 also she had achieved this feat of climbing Mt Everest twice, but then she had done this in 10 days.

Anshu’s husband Tsering Wange who is also the president of All Arunachal Pradesh Mountaineering and Adventure Sports Association, said, “God has answered the prayers of her admirers in Arunachal Pradesh and elsewhere in India and beyond.”
