NABARD will grant 228 cr for 2 lakh PoS machines in 1 lakh villages. This will help in moving ahead with cashless payment mode in rural India. Presently it is estimated that there are 14 lakh PoS devises.

In order to ensure smooth movement of traffic on national highways the government has decided to extend the suspension of fees on all toll plazas on National Highways across the country till the midnight of 18.11.16.
