Average balance rise in JDY Account
The average balance in the 21.9 crore Jan Dhan Yojana accounts has doubled in less than 2 years. From an average of 795 Rs in Sept 2014, it has risen to 1735 Rs in May 2016. In the same period the number of JDY accounts has gone up four times from 5.3 cr to 21.9 cr.
