Very few must have heard of the efforts of Central Coalfields Ltd (CCL) in the same direction. A few senior executives of CCL coach students from poor households to crack the IIT-JEE. The scheme was launched in 2012 with 11 boys as an outreach towards poor families affected by CCL’s projects.
Under the scheme, meritorious boys belonging to project-affected families are selected after Class X for free coaching by CCL executives who are IIT pass-outs themselves.

The CCL programme is called 'CCL Ke Lal' and 'CCL Ki Ladli', exclusively for girls.
