Jharkhand government has decided to set up trauma centres at Dhanbad and Hazaribagh. These centres will cater to the victims of road accidents on the stretch between the two cities on NH2 (Barakar near Dhanbad and Barachatti near Hazaribagh). It may be mentioned that there is very heavy traffic of heavy vehicles on this stretch and on an average more than one person dies daily. Specialist doctors and trained staff would be recruited soon.
