Dhaba Worker's Son Is Topper In Bihar Boards

We have so many examples of students from humble backgrounds making a mark in the competitive examinations of schools boards or professional courses. (Read earlier post - http://bharatmahan.in/positive-news/students-humble-background-score-high-995)

Now comes another news of how a son of a dhaba worker in rural Bihar has topped the Bihar Board's Class X examination, the results of which were announced on Thursday. In these examinations only 51% have succeeded.

Sons of Ram Kumar who works at a dhaba in the village, Prem and his younger brother Ronit wrote the Class X board examination together. Prem, 15, is the elder son and has scored 465 out of 500 - 93% and topped the state chart. On the other hand Ronit has scored 407 out of 500 — 81.4 per cent.

Prem dreams of becoming an engineer and then taking the civil services examination.
