Pass Percentage In ICSE, ISC Boards Reduced

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has reduced the pass percentage in the board examinations to match with the other boards. 

For the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) class 10 exams the pass marks has been dropped by two per cent from 35 per cent to 33 per cent. For the Indian School Certificate (ISC) class 12 exams the pass marks has been dropped by five per cent from 40% to 35%. This change will come into effect from the academic term beginning in 2019.
