Friends, we always tend to believe that with money we can buy or destroy anything, just because we have paid for it. Though we have paid for them, the resources we have are a property of the society and nation at large. Even today, there is a large segment of population which barely manages a square meal. There are villages where there is no light, no drinking water. Despite knowing all, we continue to waste and ill-treat these resources, ignoring our duties and obligation. दोस्तों हमारे अंदर बड़ी ग़लतफहमी है... हम ये सोचते हैं कि हम अपने पैसों से कितनी भी चीज खरीद सकते हैं और नष्ट कर सकते हैं, क्योंकि हमने उसके पैसे दिये हैं। हम जिन संसाधनों का उपयोग कर रहे हैं, उनको खरीदने के लिए पैसे भले ही हमारे हैं पर ये संसाधन पूरे समाज के हैं और इन पर सबका अधिकार है। आज भी एक बहुत बड़ा तब़का ऐसा है जिसे एक व़क्त का भोजन भी बड़ी मुश्किल से मिलता है। आज भी ऐसे बहुत-से गांव हैं जहां अभी तक बिजली नहीं पहुंची। इन बातों को जानते हुए भी हम बिजली, पानी और अना़ज नष्ट करते रहते हैं, क्योंकि हम अपने और समाज के प्रति कर्तव्यों पर ना ध्यान देते हैं और न देना चाहते हैं।
