The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will provide FASTags free of cost until December 1 in order to encourage vehicle owners to move towards FAStags. It will also be available free of cost by NHAI at RTO offices and transport hubs. The security deposit of Rs. 150 will be borne by NHAI.

Successful Firing Of Brahmos Surface To Surface Missile
Indian Air Force BrahMos unit has successfully fired two Surface to Surface missiles at Trak Island in Andaman Nicobar group of islands on 21 & 22 Oct 19. The BrahMos land attack cruise missiles engaged the designated mock targets close to300 Km away and achieved direct hit in both the cases. IAF had previously successfully fired the land version of the BrahMos missile at Pokhran.
