“Aadi Mahotsav” a National Tribal Festival is being organized in New Delhi by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and TRIFED to celebrate, cherish and promote the spirit of tribal craft, culture, cuisine and commerce. the Mahotsav will be held from 16-30 Nov at Dilli Haat, INA; from 21-30 No at Nehru Park and from 16-19 Nov at Central Park, New Delhi. There will be display and sale of items of tribal art and craft, tribal medicine & healers, tribal cuisine and display of tribal folk performance, in which tribal artisans, chefs, folk dancers/musicians from 23 States of the country shall participate and provide glimpse of their rich traditional culture.

Ayurveda Departments To Be opened In The New 19 AIIMS
Minister of State for AYUSH Shripad Yesso Naik has announced that Ayurveda Departments will be opened in the new 19 AIIMS. He said, work is already on to start Ayurveda Departments in hundred ESIC hospitals under Ministry of Labour. Further, approval has been received from Home Ministry to open Ayurveda Deparments in seven hospitals of BSF and other Para military forces.
Jharakhand To Become ODF By 15th Nov
Union Minister for Drinking Water and Sanitation Uma Bharati said that with the present rate of sanitation coverage in the state, Jharkhand will become open defecation free state on it’s upcoming foundation day - 15th November. She was speaking in Ganga Gram Swachchhata Sammelan at Rajmahal in Jharkhand.
GST Revenue Collections For October Crosses One Lac Crore
The total gross GST revenue collected in October is Rs. 100,710 crore of which CGST is Rs. 16,464 cr, SGST is Rs. 22,826 cr, IGST is Rs. 53,419 cr (including Rs. 26,908 cr collected on imports) and Cess is Rs. 8,000 cr(including Rs. 955 cr collected on imports).
The total number of GSTR 3B Returns filed for the month of September up to 31st October, 2018 is 67.45lakh.
92% MGNREGA Wage Payments Generated On Time
In the Financial Year 2018-19, so far 92% wage payments under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) has been generated within 15 days. This was 26.85% in 2014-15. The allocation of MGNREGA was also increased to a record Rs. 55,000 crore in 2018-19. (PIB)

One Million WiFi Hotspots By December 2019
Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Communications Manoj Sinha, announced today that the Indian telecom industry will roll out one million WiFi hotspots in the country by December 2019. This initiative allows consumers to access Wi-Fi Hotspots of any of the partnering operators.
HEFA Approved Projects Worth 10+ Cr For Higher Education
Higher Education Funding Agency (HEFA) served in-principle approval to projects amounting to Rs.10,065.37 crores and sanctioned Rs. 5,260 crore till date. In July the Union Cabinet had permitted HEFA to mobilise ₹1 lakh crore to fund research and academic infrastructure in higher educational institutions by 2022.
