46 Highway Nest (Mini) Operational On NHs
46 Highway Nest (Mini) projects have been completed so far. Launched by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) the Highway Nest (Mini) is under construction at all the 372 toll plazas on upside and downside of National Highways approximately at a distance of 200-250 m from the toll plazas. Highway Nest (Mini) will provide for drinking water, tea/coffee, packaged food/eatables and toilets for ladies/gents and physically challenged persons.
All 640 Dist To Be Covered By Media & Advocacy Under BBBP Scheme
Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme is currently being implemented in 161 districts across the country. Government has decided to expand the BBBP scheme to cover all the 640 districts (as per census 2011), through Multi -sectoral intervention in 244 districts in addition to existing 161 districts and Alert District Media & Advocacy in 235 districts.
