Delhi will have country's first all-women SWAT team. There are 36 women constables in this team. Home Minister Raj Nath Singh will formally induct them in the Delhi Police force on Friday.
They have been trained by specialists from within the country and from abroad. All the 36 women are from North Eastern states and were inducted in the squad after rigorous 15 month long training.
These commandos will be stationed at strategic locations in central and south Delhi.
