India's largest cancer hospital - the National Cancer Institute in Jhajjar in Haryana will commence OPD services today. By mid-January indoor admissions will also start for the public in phased manner. Between January and March 2019 250 beds will be available and by December this will be increased to 500 beds.
Being built at a cost of Rs2035 crores this will be country's largest public funded hospital.
Situated just 50 kms away from the main AIIMS, it will take load off from here.
