Foundation stone laying ceremony of the biggest Sewage Treatment Plant of its kind in India will be done on Wednesday in Vrindavan, Mathura, UP. This plant will treat 200 lakh litres of effluent per day and the treated water will be used by Mathura Refinery for its industrial use. Costing 40 crores this plant with most advanced technology is being set up at Laxmi Nagar. Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Ministry of Water Resources & River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation and Govt of Uttar Pradesh have joined hands to make the mission of 'Clean Ganga - Clean Yamuna' a real success.
