Not everyone can go to see the Eiffel Tower in Paris or the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Or even the Great Pyramid of Giza. But those looking for a happy snap don't mind if they are posing in front of an original or a replica. There's good news for them.
South Delhi Municipal Corporation would redevelop Rajiv Gandhi Smriti Van near Millennium Park as a 'wonders of the world park'.
"Seven sections in this green area will have dedicated themed spaces for seven monuments that are recognised as world's great wonders. Replicas of those monuments will be installed," said Puneet Goyal, commissioner, South Delhi Municipal Corporation.
The idea has been borrowed from a similar park in Kota, Rajasthan, built adjacent to Kishore Sagar Lake.
