Today a news item of a police station in Gurgaon, published in Hindustan Times, is being posted here. This police station is also unique. It has a two-room ‘Phulwari’ complete with toys, puzzles and a nanny to ensure children do not get affected by their murky surroundings. The play area is meant to provide a friendly environment, which engages them and lets them relax.

These two news items of two different police stations are note worthy. Usually the police stations are perceived to be dirty with lack of basic amenities. With so much of changes coming in different fields it is time that efforts are made to improve on the facilities that Police Stations have - and this would create such a good environment improving the efficiency of the people working around.
