This is the story of how by making incense sticks, agarbattis, tribal women in village Bediya, in Dumka district of Jharkhand, have changed their lives - earlier they were selling the local liquor, called 'handiya', but now they are making incense sticks and selling them. A group of women were given a ten-day training for this and now 35 of them have joined in this and become entrepreneurs. The government has also said that this self help group will be supported by it.

झारखंड के दुमका जिले में एक गांव है बेदिया. 2011 की जनगणना के मुताबिक इस गांव में सिर्फ 75 घर हैं और यहां रहने वालों में 99 फ़ीसदी लोग आदिवासी.
इस गांव के तमाम खपरैलों के बीच एक खपरैल चांदमुनी हांसदा का भी है. वो संथाली जनजाति से ताल्लुक रखती हैं.
चांदमुनि पिछले महीने तक 'हड़िया' (एक तरह की शराब) बेचकर रोजी कमाती थीं लेकिन अब वो ये काम नहीं करतीं.
अब वो मंदिर के फूलों और बेलपत्र अगरबत्ती बनाने का काम करती हैं और अपने इस नए काम से काफी ख़ुश हैं.
